Do I need to pre-register?
No, you are welcome to drop in to any class.

Do I need to bring anything?
Yoga Center of Santa Cruz is fully equipped with changing rooms, mats, props, and public restrooms. Some students prefer to bring their own mats. The props generally used are belts, 10lb sandbags, blosters, foam and wooden blocks, and blankets.

How do I know which level is right for me?
If you are new to Iyengar yoga we suggest that you drop in to a level 1 class to experience our approach. For levels 2-3, students should have familiarity or be ready to practice headstand and shoulderstand.

What is a series?
The coupon books are sold in packs of 5 for $60.00, or 10 for $120 and they are good for any teacher any time, except Kofi’s classes. A coupon book last for a year; those purchased in 2017 will expire January 31, 2018.

What if I miss a week during a series?
Please discuss this with the instructor.

Kofi's Winter 2023 Workshop

Summer Intensive with Kofi Busia
June 19-23, Wednesday – Sunday

Veteran’s Hall, 846 Front Street, Santa Cruz
Cost: 5 or more classes: $25/class, for 4 classes or less $30/class.

Level  3-5, 10:30 – 12:30pm
Level 1-3, 4:30 – 6:30 pm

Kofi Busia is offering two intensive sessions daily during the five-day session. Applicants need not come every day and may book for 1 or 2 classes each day. NOTE: the advanced Level 3-5 classes are only for strong and well-established Iyengar-style students. Please email maya@yogacentersantacruz.com if you have any questions.
