Mitra began teaching yoga at seventeen, and she has been blessed with talented and caring Master instructors whose insights have sharpened her understanding and refined her teaching style.
Today her classes reflect her four decades of continuous practice, shaped by her gratitude for her teachers’ tireless care reinforcing her awareness that she and her students are an important link, an unbroken connection from antiquity into the 21st Century. Laughter now commonly mixes her insights with passionate dedication as she strives to touch the head, heart and hand of students. She focuses on helping students become stronger and more enlightened with every class, every practice.
Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees.
